The Grand Central Academy of Art was created by professional, exhibiting artists to offer classical training to serious students. The Academy offers a positive environment for classical instruction in drawing and painting.
The goal of the Academy is to train a generation of highly skilled, aesthetically sensitive artists in the humanist tradition.
The further mission of the Grand Central Academy is to offer a public place for the revival of the classical art tradition; to foster and support a community of artists in pursuit of aesthetic refinement, a high level of skill and beauty.

Thank you so much for this blog, and all the hard work and effort to take these wonderful photos and post them and write commentary. For someone like myself, this is as close as I will ever be able to get to a fine art school such as GCA, and looking at the pictures of student's and teacher's work and classes there helps me be a better artist. Your blog is first class, as is your school. What a blessing to be there!!! Thanks again for sharing so much beauty with the world!!!
Nice work. What are they made off and what are the dimensions?
